I come away from most conferences happy if I glean one interesting insight. LFYS keep my attention for two days and every hour was packed with "take away insights"! I highly recommend it!
My wife and I have taken many such assessment tools and most have left us cold. After the conference I talked my wife into taking the LFYS assessment. It is the first assessment that made sense to her! Even my kids got fired up and they wanted to take assessment! In 18 years of clinical practice I have never had my kids interested in such a thing and I didn't even have to try! They immediately identified with the language of the animals and the natural concepts behind them. We've had lots of fun and helpful communication as a family since!

In my personal study of relationships and the causes of misunderstanding and conflicts, there have been many enlightening, "ahaa" moments. However, the information gained through taking the LFYS assessment is foundational to all these insights. Gaining additional insights into the use and interpretation of the LFYS assessment results was wonderfully valueable. Putting the biblical perspective for how God has created all of us to work together as one body made the assessment even more valuable. I learned how people address/solve problems through aggressive or reflective behavior; process information through optimistic or realistic views; manage change by being predictable or dynamic; and take risk through structure or pioneering avenues. God made us all uniquely different by design and how we each address these issues can actually lead to efficiency and effectiveness to our team - at work and home.
